Kevin and Erin Libby are proud native Texans and graduates of Texas A&M University in College Station. After college, they spent several years in Baltimore, Maryland, where Kevin pursued a career in commodities trading. But even while living far from home, their hearts remained in Texas—and their dream of owning a ranch never faded.

 

That dream became a reality when they returned to Texas after their children graduated from high school. They found their perfect piece of land in Brenham, where the rolling pastures, majestic live oaks, and fields of bluebonnets captured their hearts. The charm of small-town life and the warmth of the community sealed the deal.

 

Today, Kevin continues his work in trading, while Erin has transitioned from full-time mom to full-time livestock manager—caring for every animal on the ranch and in their home. As first-generation ranchers, they’ve embraced the steep learning curve with grit, curiosity, and a sense of humor. Every challenge is a chance to grow, and every day brings new reasons to be grateful for the life they’re building in Brenham.

 

They’re excited for what the future holds and are loving the journey—one hoofprint, pawprint, and muddy boot at a time.
